In this context, SPIC built three viaducts in 17 months, with a total length of 2,750 m and a total surface area of 23,200 m2.
The decks consist of two lateral steel beams and a concrete slab.
SPIC carried out the assembly, transport and launch of the steel structures, for a total weight of 9'450 tons, and built all the reinforced concrete slabs.
For the construction, specific prefabrication and assembly plants were set up by SPIC at each viaduct.
Paradiso I viaduct, assembled in 8 and a half months with a caravan.
The viaduct is 725 m long and consists of 11 spans with a maximum span of 75 m and a width of up to 15.55 m, for a total surface area of 8,900 m2.
The steel structures had a weight of 2'600 tons.
Ippolito I viaduct, assembled in 6 months with a caravan.
The viaduct is 1100 m long and consists of 15 spans with a maximum span of 75 m and a width of up to 12 m, for a total area of 13,200 m2.
The steel structures had a weight of 3'800 tons.
Ippolito III viaduct, built in seven months with push launch.
The viaduct is 925 m long and consists of 13 spans with a maximum span of 75 m and a width of up to 12 m, for a total area of 11,100 m2.
